Where does the time go?

I just don't know where the time is going. We are already half way through November. It will be Christmas before we know it. I for one am no where near ready for Christmas. With the economy the way it is, I know I am going to scale down this year. It is time to realize what Christmas is really about. It is not about the presents, but it is about family and friends. Time to relax and enjoy one anothers company. It is not time to fight the malls and stress out about things.
Our church is planning a live manger, caroling and serving hot cider the week before Christmas. I am looking forward to this. Our church keeps getting closer and closer. More people are stepping up and helping out at fellowships. When times are tough, it is such a blessing to belong to a loving church. We lift each other up and draw close to one another. Today we are having our Thanksgiving potluck. There will probably be 150 people there and I am in charge. I am a little nervous, but I am sure everything will turn out great. I have so many helpers and everything always works out, so there is no need to worry.

I miss caroling. I know the time flies (in the fall I think most) xoxo
